Viewing Transactions

From the Transactions page, you can view and filter transactions.

To filter transactions

  1. On the Transactions page, choose a Group Transactions By option -- Account or None .
  2. Select a timeframe from the Date drop-down menu.
  3. Select a security type from the Security Type drop-down menu.
  4. Select a transaction type from the Transaction Type drop-down menu.
  5. Type the symbol or CUSIP in the Symbol/CUSIP box.
  6. Click Go. The system displays the filtered transactions. Note: If you choose to group transaction by account, the data table groups transactions by accounts under corresponding headers. The data table otherwise displays all matching transaction records by descending date.

Header Name

Description

<Transaction Details by the Accounts Header>

The account header displays:

  • Institution's name where the account is held
  • Account number
  • Nickname of the account
  • Total market value of the account
  • Market value of securities in percentage

Column Descriptions�

Column Name

Description

Trade Date

Displays the date of transaction.

Nickname

Displays the account nickname. (Appears only if Group Transactions By "None" is selected.)

Account #

Displays the account number. (Appears only if Group Transactions By "None" is selected.)

Transaction Type

Displays the�transaction type.

Activity

Displays the transaction type, such as, buy, sell, short, cash withdrawal, and other activities such as exchanges and fees and charges.

Symbol/CUSIP

Displays the symbol/CUSIP of the financial instrument.

Description

Displays the description of the transaction.

Held In

Displays the type of account.

The possible values for this field are Cash, Short, or, Margin.

Quantity

Displays the number of units.

Price ($)

Displays the execution price for the transaction.

Value ($)�

Displays the value.

To sort the data in the�results table�

The data is sorted in ascending or descending order.
